VISIT OF MANNANNEEYA HANUMANT RAO JI
On Monday, 8th September, 2025 Mananeya Hanumant Rao ji All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra, Susri Varsha Didi Secretary of VKV's Andaman and Shri Venu Gopal, Education Officer VKV's Andaman visited our vidyalaya.
During their visit, they conducted three sessions: a student interaction and a teacher interaction. There was a vibrant session of Man. Hanumant rao ji with the students of class 5th and 6th where he told the story of Mahabharata based on this he conducted a game on concentration and practice and also he interacted with Class 9th and 10th students for approximately 45 minutes each.On that total.... students participated. He discussed about how swami ji inspired jamsethi Tata ji on his way to America to participate in world parliament of religion in Chicago and also about Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari.
Mananeya Hanumant Rao Ji shared Swami Ji's perspective on excelling in life, highlighting two dimensions: successful and purposeful of this life. He emphasized the importance of understanding the difference between success and purpose, where success refers to individual goals that may benefit oneself at the cost of others, whereas purpose refers to goals that benefit both oneself and others and also explained about teamwork how the students can help each other in each subjects and he also briefly explained about the first demension i.e how to become success.
After the interaction both Shri Venugopal sir observed 6th,7th, and 9th class.Mananeey Hanumant Rao ji visited the surrounding of the school area.
In the second session Shri Venu Gopal sir discussed about the Holistic Progress Report Card and also instructed the teachers how to fill the sheets and report card in the right way.
The third session, an interaction with teachers, began around 3:00 pm. It started with 3 omkara and shanti path along with patriotic song followed by "Seva Ka Vrat Dhara." Which was sung by all the teachers.He also discussed about the personality of a good teacher , how we can inculcate moral values within the students, explain about the qualities of a good teacher based on the philosophy of swami ji, and also how we can arose the feeling of patriotism in students life.
During the interaction, Mananeey Hanumant Rao Ji discussed about the personality of a good teacher ,the purpose of an organization, specifically referencing VKV's role in educational activities in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He explained that the organization's purpose and aim to achieve, also discussed about the flagship of the school,100% speaking English should be there in the classes.
Mananeey Hanumant Rao Ji also mentioned the five love formulas:
1. Love for children and think as our own child
2. Love for the subject
3. Love for the profession
4. Love for the institution
5. Love for the nation.
He emphasized that profession is an expression of one's personality and that education should focus on building character and behavior, rather than just scoring marks. He also encouraged teachers to help students develop patriotism and love towards our nation and we should give 100% in our work willingly and should be honest to our institution.
