 GANDHI JAYANTI & LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JAYANTI 

VKZPV Basantipur celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi (156th) and Lal Bahadur Shastri (121st) with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by HoI of the school, followed by floral tribute to the leaders.Teachers delivered motivational speeches:Rohini G  (teacher) spoke on Gandhi’s life, truth and simplicity. Ajitha kumary  (teacher) highlighted about Lall Bahadur Shastri Ji’s values .Students performed:Vaishnavi a student  of class V delivered a speech on "Mahatma Gandhi "Ram Dhun led by class X girls and a Eye opening Skit was performed by the class X students on "cleanliness". 

Conclusion:

The celebration ended with offering of flowers . The programme was coordinated by Deepika Mishra House and witnessed by participants (students and staff).
