CELEBRATION OF UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY - 2021

 

"The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourself."

On 11th of September 2021, Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated in our Vidyalaya in the presence of Chief Guests Shri Anil Dey (Teacher, GMS Billiground) and Shri Amar Baul (Chair Person, SMC).

Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated with the motto of -

*Inculcating patriotism in the youths.       *Spreading the messages of Swami Vivekananda.       *Spreading the feeling of Brotherhood among people.

Swami Vivekananda spoke on the following lectures in the World's Parliament of Religions at the Art Institute of chicago.

• Response to welcome 11th September 1893)
• Why we disagree (15th September 1893)
• Paper on Hinduism (19th September 1893)
• Religion not the crying need of India (20th September 1893)
• Buddhism, the fulfillment of Hinduism (26th September 1893)
• Address at the final session (27th September 1893)

A teaching staff, Siddhartha Ejerder of our school spoke on the significance of Universal Brotherhood Day. All over the program was a effective one, a reunion of the importance of Universal Brotherhood in the mind of youngsters. With the contribution of all the staffs and students the program was conducted sucessfully.

GANESH CHATURTHI

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in our school on 10th September 2021 on the name of the Elephant Headed God - Lord Ganesha. All the staffs and students were present on the day. Students sung beautiful bhajans on Lord Ganesha like Vakratundh Mahakaya, Ganesha Arti and few bhajans from padavali. A very dedicative speech was presented by Shri Vaikunt, a teaching staff of our school.

Lord Ganesha -the god of 108 names, the god of arts and science and Deva of wisdom. Lord Ganesha is also known as Vinayaka, Ganapati dearly and widely.

 

गणेश जी का रूप बड़ा निराला है, चेहरा भी कितना भोला भाला है, जिस पर भी आती है कोई मुसीबत, उसे इन्ही ने ही तो सम्भाला है।

TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION

On 6th of September, 2021 teachers day have been celebrated in our school. Students have arranged a very beautiful program to pay respect to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji and teachers. A day to honour, recognise and celebrate the educators. It is also a celebration of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary. 

Dr Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President of India and the second President of India, was a teacher, scholar and philosopher par excellence.

Students arranged different programs viz songs, poems, skits, speeches etc. And also presented gifts and flowers to all the staffs.

To enlight the day, Kumari Jasmine spoke on the significance of Teachers Day. All the staffs blessed the students for their bright future. The program was successfully ended with the contribution of all staffs and students.
