Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on 11 August 2022 at 10:30 am at VKZPV Basantipur. The program firstly started with the Rakhi- Rangoli Making Competition house wise. Students inculcated themselves whole heartedly and prepared beautiful Rakhies using rangoli.
Smti Sushma Das spoke on the importance of the day. Raksha Bandhan means bond, Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is an important Hindu Festival, dedicated to brothers and sisters.
On this auspicious day, sisters tie a thread on her brother's wrist and pray for his long and prosperous life. In return, the brother gives a token of love to his loving sister and promise to protect her.
